Here at Global Development Project, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Since 2015, we have set out to build productive relationships and make a positive impact where it truly counts – in the lives of the people that need it the most!

We have a single vision of changing and shaping lives through educational development, physical well-being, and business initiative development. We exist to love, serve, and equip those that feel hopeless and helpless. We truly understand that their hopelessness and helplessness does not represent the beautiful treasure and gift that they really are! Our desire and mission is to be that Hope and Help!

A Lift Up – Clean Water Project

The Global Development Project’s ‘A Lift Up’ campaign is an ambitious initiative to raise important funds and provide clean water to the Good Samaritan Children’s Home in Nairobi, Kenya. The children’s home is located in the Mathare slums, one of the largest in the nation of Kenya.

Several weeks ago, the water supply to the slums were shut off due to the current financial crisis in Kenya. When there is such a crisis, the residents living in the slums are either neglected or simply forgotten. This in turn left the children’s homes without clean water for over a week. Thankfully, because of our caring partners, GDP was able to supply clean water to the home for the children until the water supply was restored. But unfortunately, this happens far too often, and it’s the precious kids who suffer the most. WE WANT TO CHANGE THIS, FOR GOOD!!

With the support of generous donors, the project will raise funds to drill a fresh water well, and install a water pump, 2 – 10,000 liter water reservoirs, and a water purification system for the home, which will provide safe and clean water to the children living there. The project is a joint effort between the Global Development Project, the Good Samaritan Children’s Home, and a number of private and public donors who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of these precious children. The GDP is committed to making a difference in the lives of those in need, and the ‘A Lift Up’ campaign is a testament to that commitment. With your help, we can the lives of a few of those who so desperately need and deserve our help!
